I had a great homecoming weekend! It all started with the Homecoming game on Friday. I play in the band, so I was in the parade and I got to do the show during half time. The next night was the dance. Me and a group went to California Pizza Kitchen and got ice cream at Town Center. After that, we went to the school to dance. I had the best moves there! I milked the cow, sheered the sheep, skinned the pig, mowed the lawn, went grocery cart shopping, and churned the butter. I'm surprised my friends didn't die of embarrassment. Then we all went home at 11:00.

How was your weekend? Did you do anything exciting? Share photos!
This weekend I decided to do something for this class to share. On Saturday, I went to band and got home at 4:00. Then I had one hour to get ready and then go and babysit. I love to babysit little kids, but I don't enjoy this house very well. The girl is about 2 years old and slightly stubborn, but not that much trouble. The trouble is that she has a wolf for a pet. This dog nearly killed me the last time a babysat! It's a pact dog, so it's really protective over the girl and it sees me as a threat. I know better this time so I put the dog outside, but I keep slamming into the door! The dad told me not to open the door, but the little girl opened it letting in the beast. I proceeded to running up on the couch and trying to navigate it back outside. I barely made it out alive, but it went outside. Also, they pay well. That was all the excitement I could take for a weekend.

Now that you are several weeks in to this class and have coded one (super small) website, what do you think? What are your thoughts on web design? Is it what you thought it would be? Is it better? Worse? What's your favorite part? What's your least favorite part? Explain.
Web Design is one of my favorite classes! I feel like such a nerd when I'm coding and it rocks!I honestly thought I would hate this class, and I did at first, but now it's so much fun. I'm learning skills that are important nowadays. I know hat in the future it'll be really helpful to know the basics of how a web site works. The only thing I don't like is Code Academy. I hate Code Academy! It was helpful at fist, but nothing can stop my hatred for that place. On the other hand, I love when we're set free and out making web sites. I'm even thinking practicing making web sites for fun! In all, I love this class, and I can't wait o learn more!

What is the importance of deadlines? How do high school deadlines reflect or simulate "real world" experience? Give an example of when you met or or didn't meet a deadline that was important.
Deadlines are important because they keep us focused on tasks that need to be completed. Like, the deadline to pay your taxes. I think that High Schools have deadline to prepare us for when missing a deadline could seriously hurt us. We have to learn to get things done before the deadline to prevent stress or being late. For Example, I missed turning in my summer reading packet.

Reflect on this quote. Give an example of a time in your life that this might have been the case.

I think that this is very intelligent quote about procrastination. I have a problem with failing to prepare, and I have suffered from it for the past five years. The most recent example would be last night when I had not done my math homework, and I was up till 11:00 working on it. Then there was last week when I didn't prepare for my AP Human Geography test till the night before. That same night I was filling in my dot book for band. I had had four weeks to prepare the dot book, but I chose to do the majority of it the night before. The only reason I am here today is because I can wok quickly and effectively understand stress. I would still be in 5th grade if it wasn't for this skill.

What did you do this weekend? Share pictures if you have them!
I did nothing this weekend. I hardly did any homework, and I when outside for two seconds and got tired. You see, I was on Netflix for at least 10 hours Saturday and Sunday. It was some of my finest work. I watched season three and four of Supernatural and the first episode of Sherlock. That was it...

Below is one of my favorite quotes that I found on Pinterest. Think read and think about what this says and then blog about it. What does this quote mean to you? Elaborate! Feel free to give an example of tell a story.

I love this quote! I think that it's brilliant and true. There are so many places to go and things to do in this world. There is no reason or us to bored. Even if you don't go anywhere we can think, read, and write. We can go out and save a cat from a tree or become the best scarf maker in the world. There is always something for us to do, because we are alive on Earth with billions of people and places. Even if every moment of our lives was spent doing something amazing, there would sill be something to do. So, I don't think we should ever be bored, and that's why I love this quote.
